Your family is unique. Your estate plan should be too.
Binkert Greene LLP is a women-owned estate planning and trust administration firm built on one core belief: estate planning should feel as thoughtful and personal as the people it’s meant to protect.
We understand how busy life can feel. Between school calendars, careers, caregiving, and everything else on your plate, estate planning often gets pushed aside, even when it is quietly sitting in the back of your mind.
That is where we come in.
We take the time to listen and understand what matters most to you. We do not rush you through a checklist. We talk through the real-life details that shape a strong plan, including who would care for your children, who you trust to manage finances, and how a second marriage, blended family, business interest, or international connection may affect your wishes.
Yes, we draft wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives. We also guide individuals and families through trust and estate administration after the loss of a loved one.
But the real purpose of our work goes beyond documents.
We help you create clarity. We help reduce the chance of conflict. We help make things easier for your spouse, your children, your parents, or the people who may one day need to step in.
A thoughtful estate plan is not just about passing on property. It is a lasting gift to the people you leave behind. It can mean the difference between confusion and clarity, between court involvement and a smoother path forward.
Our commitment to family and community guides everything we do. We serve individuals and families with compassion, practical guidance, and solutions rooted in real life. We are here to help you put a plan in place that protects the people you care about most, now and in the years to come.

Karen brings more than a decade of litigation experience and a deeply personal perspective to her estate planning practice.
After graduating from Loyola Law School, Karen spent over ten years as a litigation attorney handling trust and estate disputes, business matters, real estate conflicts, and intellectual property cases. She has seen firsthand what happens when families are left without clear planning and how thoughtful preparation can prevent unnecessary stress and conflict.
When Karen stepped away from litigation to focus on raising her three children, she also became a dedicated volunteer in her community. Karen served on the PSA Board and the Board of Trustees at Almaden Country Day School and served as an active member with the National Charity League, volunteering at many local organizations in her community.
This time period deepened her connection to the families around her and reinforced her commitment to serving others. During that time, estate planning became more than a practice area. It became personal. In the rhythm of school schedules, family responsibilities, and everyday life, she saw just how essential it is for parents and families to have clear, well-designed plans in place.
As Karen returned to the law, she chose to dedicate her practice exclusively to estate planning and trust administration, helping individuals and families create customized plans that reflect their lives and values. Her litigation background gives her a unique perspective to estate planning by enabling her to anticipate potential conflicts, mitigate risks, and deliver comprehensive solutions to each and every client.
Outside the office, Karen enjoys time with her husband and three children, hiking, traveling, gathering with friends, and indulging in her love of 80s music.
Her work is grounded in experience, perspective, and a genuine commitment to helping families plan with confidence.
Estate planning is personal. You deserve guidance that is thoughtful, practical, and built around your life.
